Your Love Story

…How did you meet?

…How did you meet? We met online on a dating app (Hinge). Our first date was at Cheddar Gorge, we went for a walk up to the top of the hill and enjoyed the view together. The rest is history….

The proposal

Expected or surprise!

Expected or surprise! We had spoken about getting married prior to the engagement so therefore, Ellice knew it wouldn’t be too far in the future. Liam took us to the place where we had our first meal. We were given our own secluded area where the table was set up with candles and rose petals. We had our meal, followed by giving each other our 1 year anniversary gifts. After this Liam got down on one knee and popped the question. We then celebrated with champagne.

Choosing THE dress …

…Something old, Something new, Something borrowed, Something blue? Ellice went with her mum and two of her bridesmaids to a wedding dress shop that she knew of before. (Bridal Beloved in Street, Somerset). Each person picked 2 dresses (all different styles), Ellice then tried each one on to work out her top 3. After this, the top 3 were tried on again to figure out the final winner. Ellice picked something She thought she wouldn’t like before trying it on but when she tried it on she fell in love and knew it was the one. The experience was amazing and such a fun afternoon.

Why did you choose Bredenbury Court Barns?

We saw Bredenbury Court Barns online and liked the look of it from the photos. We then went for a viewing and immediately fell in love with The venue and knew we wanted to get married there. The venue had everything we could have needed to make our day perfect and the staff were so lovely and friendly. After Viewing Bredenbury we never viewed anywhere else as we knew this was where we wanted to have our wedding. We are so pleased we had our wedding at Bredenbury Court Barns and couldn’t have wished for anywhere better.

A word of advice for future couples?

…Relax, enjoy, BREATHE! Don’t worry about what other people say you should have on your day, make it happen the way you want it to. Don’t feel like you need to spend loads of money, just spend enough to make yourself happy. Enjoy your day as everything has already been sorted. The day will go by so fast, make sure you spend time together just the two of you.
