LOVELY DAY CELEBRANT
Hi, I’m Kathryn – ‘Lovely Day Celebrant’, and my job is to make your wedding ceremony the centrepiece of your big day! If you have chosen a unique venue like Bredenbury Court Barns Exclusive Wedding Venue, then I’d imagine you are looking for something a bit special for every aspect of your day. That’s where I come in. Your ceremony is the reason you are here – not an afterthought!
As a celebrant trained and accredited by Humanists UK, I write bespoke non-religious ceremonies that are joyful and connecting. It makes me extraordinarily happy to see couples, and their chosen people, being truly present in the moment and celebrating their love. I am a familiar face waiting as you enter the space on your wedding day, and I am genuinely and emphatically invested in making sure your ceremony is amazing, and really reflects you as a couple.
We plan every detail together. No ‘insert name here’ scripts with a humanist ceremony! We meet so that I can hear all about your love story… how you met… how you fell in love- teasing out all those delicious little details that make you laugh and smile. Your story is the core of your bespoke ceremony script. We talk about the foundations of your relationship- the reasons that you are making this wonderful commitment to one another- and we find perfect ways to honour them.
We can include symbolic acts such as handfasting, candle lighting, or tree planting – each beautifully framed by meaningful words to connect them to your story and your loved ones. We can also invent entirely new ones! You can include your children, your pets, your friends. Honour your culture or heritage. Include nods to your favourite movies or hobbies… Your ceremony can be as traditional or as creative as you like.
It is all up to you. It’s YOUR day. If you’d like it to be a ‘Lovely Day’ then get in touch!
