Frequently Asked Wedding Catering Questions:

What are the more popular wedding food choices?

The beautiful thing about a wedding is that it’s your big day! You can serve whatever food you and your partner want. Whether you want a big Sunday roast during a weekday wedding or a more traditional three-course meal, it’s up to you.

As a general guide, canapés and sharing platters are always popular starters. For mains, anything from a beef dish to a vegetarian option is perfect. And for dessert? Wedding cake, of course!

How much does wedding catering cost at Bredenbury Court Barns?

Menu pricing is covered more comprehensively during your viewing at Bredenbury Court Barns, however, a wholesome three-course wedding breakfast including tea and coffee served in The Oak Barn, starts from just £42.50 per guest for a fabulous dining experience.

You are also free to design your very own evening buffet or select from a wide range of options. Evening food prices start from £8.50 per guest.

Wedding catering in general can be as expensive or as affordable as you want it to be. It all depends on the number of guests, the menu you choose, and the level of service you require.

If you’re looking to keep costs down, we recommend opting for a buffet-style meal or a simple three-course plated meal. If you’re looking to push the boat out, then why not go for a more luxurious seven-course tasting menu?

Whatever your budget, we will work with you to create the perfect menu for your big day.

Do you have to use wedding caterers at a wedding?

No, you don’t have to use wedding caterers. If you or someone you know is a dab hand in the kitchen, then why not cook up a storm?

However, we do recommend using professional catering services for your big day. They will take care of everything from menu planning and creation to food preparation and service on the day. This will leave you free to enjoy your wedding stress-free.

Corporate Catering Company vs Professional Catering:

When it comes to corporate catering, there are a few key differences that set it apart from professional catering.

For starters, corporate catering is usually more focused on efficiency and cost-effectiveness, whereas professional catering is all about creating a memorable dining experience.

Corporate caterers will often create mass-produced food that can be quickly served to large groups at corporate events, whereas professional caterers will take the time to create individualised dishes that are both delicious and visually appealing.

Another key difference is that corporate catering is often done by in-house staff or a third-party company, while professional catering is usually provided by an experienced chef who has their own business.

So, which is better?

It really depends on your needs and preferences and budget. If you’re looking for a quick and easy catering solution for your wedding, then corporate catering might be the way to go. However, if you want to impress your guests with gourmet food and impeccable service, then professional catering serving local produce is the way to go.
